The Clow Cards were created by a man named Clow Reed. He was a very famous magician and had many enemies. Keroberos is the guardian who watches over the clow cards, but somehow he fell asleep while Sakura open the seal. Also Syaoran is a decendent to Clow Reed, well on his mother's side that is. Clow Reed's Father was from England and his Mother from China. It was said that Clow Reed feel in love with Kaho Mistuki(of at least thats what i heard). And on the platform that appears when Sakura performs magic they have western and eastern magic symbols. Clow Reed had really strong magic because he could created new kinds of magic.
